It seems unlikely to think that London, Europe's most popular tourist destination and convenient English-speaking bridge between America & Europe, so far does not have a big glamorous international rhythmic gymnastics meet. Well this is about to change!
Rhythmic Wonderland will be an uplifting visual spectacular, akin to the most premium international meets such as Miss Valentine. It will initially be a non-profit event, to ensure that every penny goes towards making the gymnasts and parents have an amazing experience. Dan Pickard, who is already co-organising most of the events in England including The London Championship, The New London Cup, Winter Stars, Prima Grand, Devotion Cup, as well as many regional meets around the country, will be taking the lead in the organization of Rhythmic Wonderland, armed with a vast backdrop of star-cloth, and giant 10 foot high illuminated star entrance as well as a ceiling full of lights fit for a concert! The greatest highlight of the event will be a gala show with unrivaled visual effects, designed to take the gymnasts inspiration to the next level!
Why are we telling you this? We are primarily making this meet for our friends in America, as an alternative to travelling to the further, non-English-speaking countries for their premium rhythmic experience. We would therefore greatly value your feedback, especially regarding dates. There is only one venue in London that has a ceiling high enough to install our own lighting and this venue (Redbridge Sports Centre) is under very high demand for all kinds of meets, and unfortunately it is currently not available until 20th/21st December this year.
